This was stressed by Dr. Le My Phong - Head of Educational Accreditation Office, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) at the opening ceremony of the 3rd accreditors training program on educational accreditation on October 29, 2016.
Reportedly, on January 28, 2016, the University of Da Nang (UD) was officially assigned the task to implement the educational accreditation in Vietnam. So far The Center of Education Accreditation (CEA) of UD is one of the 3 centers in charge of Education Accreditation under management of MOET.

In the afternoon of October 16th, 2016, the three members of the University of Danang (UD) including University of Science and Technology, University of Economics, and University of Foreign Language Studies have officially received Decision and Certificate on national education quality from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (CEA) - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. As a result, UD has become the first university in Vietnam which has 4/4 members completed educational quality accreditation at institutional level including University of Education which was recognized and granted the Certificate last April 08th.

In order to equip staff of the University of Economics with knowledge and skills necessary for involving in the process of self-assessment, improvement of training under AUN- QA standards, the University of Economics, the University of Da Nang (DUE) has organized training workshop on introducing the AUN-QA Criteria in Meeting Hall A on 10/10.

On 17 and 18th June, 2016, The University of Danang (UD) organized a workshop acquiring feedback on training program at doctoral level. Attended and chaired the workshop is Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam, the president of UD.

In the morning of March 19th, the University of Danang (UD) organized the opening ceremony of the first course named “Auditor training course for testing the quality of higher education and vocational training college” with the participation of 59 management officers, teaching staffs from different universities in Central Area and Highlands of Vietnam.

The training course on building training program under AUN-QA standards was home to more than 100 teaching staff of the University of Education on March 13th, 2016.

The first meeting of the Council for Education Accreditation was taken placed in the morning of March 5th, 2016 at the University of Danang (UD).

It is also the 3rd Centre for Education Accreditation in the country approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doan Quang Vinh – Vice President of UD was appointed as Director of the Center.

On February 16th, 2016, the 3rd meeting of Council for Educational Quality Accreditation (CEQA) of the University of Danang (UD) was organized withthe participation of President of UD, leaders of member universities and college, affiliated units and functional departments of the UD. This was a meeting to summarize the activities of educational quality assurance of UD in the 2010-2015 period and set out orientations and measures for effective implementation of this task in the period of 2016-2020, especially for the period of 2016, 2017.
